THE DOOR MAT MINISTRY



The scriptures says “and he sat down and called the twelve and saith unto them, if any man desires to be the first, the same shall be last of all and a servant of all”. So there is nothing tag all wrong with the desire to be first as long as the way you pursue it is by desiring to be last. It is not some false humility that comes from personal debasing. Wanting to be last simply desires to be the servant. Jesus chose to put himself in the position of a servant. As a servant he could reach all and help all. He did not come exalting himself. EXALTATION IS THE JOB OF THE FATHER.
It is also written “A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men”. One can only fulfill the call of his life. He cannot fulfill his selfish ambition or his imitation of another. You only get grace for your call. Trying to irritate other puts one beyond the realm of GOD’S GRACE therefore, the ministry becomes laborious and difficult.
A part form God’s grace, one finds himself in the works of the flesh struggling in his own strength. Any time the YOKE is not easy and light we are not walking in God’s ability (GRACE). In our own strength,
 we find ourselves trying to force doors to open instead of walking through the ones that are already open to us by God. Any door that cannot be opened by FAITH and walked through by grace should be left alone.
The call of God and the grace to fulfill that call will open all the right doors and create all the rights opportunities. Therefore, we need not labour to go beyond what our gift can produce to do so would make us a cloud with no rain, promising and attempting what which cannot be done or fulfilled.
Find what you are called to do through intimacy with the Lord rejoice in that call and pursue it with faith and joy.   No call is insignificant only your view of the call maybe.
Let your limitations make room for others around you to succeed and fulfill then call. In so doing all will be fulfilled and the purpose of God will be accomplished. When we stay within the bounds of our calls others will LOVE and EXALT us because  we did not steal their opportunity through jealousy and fear.
The will of God is always easy and light. When peace does not carry then your heart is not in it. When it is done for the sake of glory or success it is not for call. See the value of your position. Let your gifts open the door and enable you to do what the occasion call for

The Holly martyr

Was the Blessed and Immaculate Mother of God a martyr? Unlike Saint Peter, she was not crucified upside down. Unlike Saint Paul, she was not decapitated. Unlike Saint Lawrence, she was not burned alive. Rather, Sacred Tradition holds that she fell asleep peacefully surrounded by the Apostles of Christ her Son. Nothing but Chris and Christ alone

Peter, for himself and his brethren, said that they were assured of our Lord's being the promised Messiah, the Son of the living God. This showed that they believed Jesus to be more than man. Our Lord declared Peter to be blessed, as the teaching of God made him differ from his unbelieving countrymen. Christ added that he had named him Peter, in allusion to his stability or firmness in professing the truth. The word translated rock, is not the same word as Peter, but is of a similar meaning.
