THE DOOR MAT MINISTRY

The scriptures says “and he sat down and called the twelve and saith unto them, if any man desires to be the first, the same shall be last of all and a servant of all”. So there is nothing tag all wrong with the desire to be first as long as the way you pursue it is by desiring to be last. It is not some false humility that comes from personal debasing. He cannot fulfill his selfish ambition or his imitation of another. You only get grace for your call. THE NEEDED SKILLS

Not every faithful servant will make a good leader. FAITHFULNESS is definitely as a per-requisite for being a leader but it is not the only PER-REQUISITE. Being placed in lead The church tends to promote on a first-come first-serve basis. Just because someone has seniority does not mean that he is the most capable for the job. It is not lack of loyalty to place someone in as the leader. In fact it is extremely unfair to place a person in a position that will bring about certain failure. Workers and helpers should be selected because they have the needed skills. Similarly, leaders need to be selected because they have the needed skills. To be one or the other is not a matter of superiority. It is simply a matter of capabilities. A person will function best in the areas of his capabilities. TREMENDOUS DEGREE OF LOVE

We one a ministry to deliver weak people from their weaknesses.This require proper endurance and limitation to cover a full degree of mercy.One of the hardest thing in the world  is RECOGNIZING THE FAULTY PEOPLE WITHOUT REJECTING THEM. On one hand, our authority is established in mercy A man of mercy is a man of FAVOR. A good, judgmental leader only gains a following of IDEALISTS . Idealists loves you as long as you are PERFECT as soon as weakness is revealed, they are the first to turn on you. A man of mercy, however has the opportunity to minister to the real need because a person will not be afraid to share his deepest with a man of mercy. A man of mercy receives mercy for his own short comings. He reaps their mercy he has shown in the lives of others. He is never surrounded by IDEALISTIC INTOLERANT PEOPLE. DIVERSIFICATION

Why this? This is the essential in any business. To diversify is to develop more than one area from which to obtain finances. There is a security in diversification. If one "WELL DRIES UP" you simply drink out of another "well". In other words, a little income from many places is far more secure than much income from a few places. Banks and credit institutions relate differently and churches, then they do to businesses. They like it when a business diversifies. They interpret that as security and stability. however, when a church or ministry applies for a loan, they want to see a few  "big givers". They  want some  big money people to sign on the note to make it secure. This can be the beginning of the end. When a few people carry the ministry by their large gifts, it usually  creates a control situation. You end up with a few people you cannot afford to attend. Their giving and their credit line can be determine the destiny of the ministry. few people

AVOID LAZINESS

          Laziness is intolerable within the ministry. We should be the perfect example of a proper ethic. While we should not be “workaholic”, we should exemplify a pattern of DILIGENCE AND INTEGRITY.           Many “will be” full-time ministers and simply lazy. Their desire to be full-time is to escape the discipline and difficult of the work place. Failing to recognize the work place as a mission field is an obvious indicator of misplaced affections.           As a rule of THUMB, a minister should be able to successfully hold down and succeed at a job before entering full-time pastoring. The casualties of laziness in ministerial is very great. Learn to be diligent at the cost of the world, not the kingdom of God.           Most people are incapable of self-management. Consequently, the majority of independent, business fails. Ministry is the EPITOME OF SELF-EMPLOYMENT. It is easy to create some reasons to sleep very late and wake up very late.           The person with low self-worth will need continual boosting and re-affirming of worth. He will need the credit and recognition on a regular basis for efforts that should be their daily basis and routine as a servant. The leadership role then become a place to find worth for self rather than a place to built worth for others              When leadership is a place to build worth, every issue becomes clouded and unclear. Every decision is subconsciously slanted to meet to meet the need of a leader. While the needs of the leader is being met, the needs of people who are growing.          With every good intention in the world, a leader with faulty sense of worth makes others emotionally crippled. From his need to be needed, he develops doctrines and a management style that makes people depend on him and his ministry. Dependency becomes the source of security. THE NEGATIVE PREMISE

          When the church members want to leave let them leave. He, who wants to stay, let him do the same. When people want to try something, let them try. Not only should we let them alone or idle, but we should serve them while they are in the mood as they try. We should become a supporting part of their success.           There was a time when I felt it was my role to warn every one of the pitfalls and difficulties. When someone came to me with an idea, my first response was usually negative. In mind, I thought I was protecting them from disappointment. I finally realized that any looser could talk to people out in their dreams and visions.          My job is not to tell what would not work, but what I do is to give the scriptural principles of success and decision to follow differently to their own idea. SCIPTURAL VIOLATE AND CONFRICT

          Man was never meant to rule the planet EARTH with fear and insecurity. Authority was never forced or demanded. It was simply the natural outflow of worth. People, who have worth, never rule to prove worth. Although I am not sure, but what I know is, they rule because of worth. As a matter of fact is, people who have worth, never try to exercise AUTHORITY; they simply yield to the authority of GOD. It flows through them onto our attention. We attempt to get man right with God; we have actually made it impossible for everyone at any level to exercise true BIBLICAL AUTHORITY. We have made the average of church members feel as if they are nothing, they are not of Christ. We have told them, they know nothing, although we have not spoken this openly, but the way we lead them they cannot do something minus us. We just tame them like cattle and we just command everything to be done, because we have the authority over them. Because of this, they seriously need us to talk before they
